We often don't realize the best of times util they're gone. Take our childhood for example. At times it can feel unending - school, sports, routines, travels, - like one big merry-go-round . And then... we blink. We grow up and those memories like to come flooding back - always causing us to pause and reflect on just how different (or similar) our lives are now.
This blog is about those times. Those "key moments" that we use to see just how much life has changed since the innocence of childhood went out the window.
Each post explores one of these moments from the past in connection with the future - our perspective on growing up, family, time, and our future selves. How do our perspectives change? Do they change? How does our childhood, and what we remember from it, affect our lives now?
Using images, reflections, and main themes from my poem on childhood, these posts consider those same topics in a whole new light.
